Akshay is finally working with Nargis after she missed sharing screen space with him in Khiladi 786

Actor Akshay Kumar will be seenromancing Nargis Fakhri in the remake version of Shaukeen.Akshay has been roped in to reprise noted actor MithunChakraborty's role from Basu Chatterjee's 1982 comedyShaukeen.
Rockstar actress Nargis will play the partessayed by Rati Agnihotri in the yesteryear hit.In the original film, Mithun played the role of Rati'sboyfriend. The remake will be directed by Rumi Jaffrey of GodTussi Great Go fame.
"We will have Akshay and Nargis in the film. We havejust bought the rights of the film but have changed a lot ofthings to suit the sensibilities of today's audience. Nargisis talented, hence we cast her. Akshay is a brilliant actorand is good at entertaining people," Rumi told PTI.
The characters of Akshay and Nargis have been rewrittenfor the remake version. The makers are in the process offinalising the dates of the actors.

The shooting of the film, reportedly to be based inThailand, is expected to begin from later this year.Writer-director Rumi will also remake Chatterjee'sanother film Lakhon Ki Baat, after completing the Shaukeenremake.
