Akshay Kumar's upcoming live tour The Entertainers is making a lot of noise. The actor and his team will be performing at multiple locations in the US. Now, as per the update, the New Jersey concert of the tour has been cancelled. How do we know, you ask? Akshay's latest post regarding the tour's itinerary doesn't talk about the New Jersey concert, which was slated to take place on March 4. His caption read, “A tiny dose of entertainment for you all from THE ENTERTAINERS. North America, come join the madness and party with us in Atlanta on March 3rd, Dallas on March 8, Orlando on March 11 and Oakland on March 12. See you soon.” Apart from Akshay, Mouni Roy, Disha Patani, Nora Fatehi, Sonam Bajwa, Aparshakti Khurana, Zara Khan, and singers Jasleen Royal and Stebin Ben are part of the tour.
The New Jersey concert was cancelled due to the "extremely slow sales of tickets," reported DNA. In a statement, Amit Jaity, the promoter of the show, said, "In the spirit of full transparency, the main reason for the cancellation is the extremely slow sales of tickets for the show. We hold our beloved audience and their expectations from us at the highest level. We strive to deliver nothing but quality shows in the tri-state area. But, there are times when things just don't work out in our favour and we have to make tough choices and make the hardest decisions.”
Mr Jaity added, “It is with a big sorry this time, that we have to let our audience down and announce the cancellation of The Entertainers Tour show featuring Akshay Kumar and others.” The report added that the organisers will initiate refunds to those who have already purchased the tickets for the New Jersey event.
Now, let us take a look at the post shared by Akshay Kumar:

The big jump - so essential after a disastrous start - is clearly missing... The poor biz continues to shock, sadden and demoralise the industry... Fri 2.55 cr, Sat 3.80 cr. Total: ₹ 6.35 cr+. #India biz.”
