It's sequel season in Bollywood with Dabangg 2, Krissh 2 and Kya Super Kool Hai Hum coming up, but current box office favourite Rowdy Rathore will reportedly be getting a prequel instead.
The movie, starring Sonakshi Sinha and Akshay Kumar and directed by Prabhu Deva, has already earned over Rs 100 crores and the announcement about a prequel is expected soon.
Reports suggest that the makers are likely to announce the prequel at a mega party in Mumbai later this week.
Rowdy Rathore, which marked the return of Khiladi Akshay Kumar to the action genre after a gap of seven years is the Housefull 2 actor's biggest solo opening so far.
