Rowdy Rathore, which releases today, is remarkable for two reasons. Akshay Kumar makes a return to action movies after seven years and Sonakshi Sinha makes her second Bollywood outing after her sensational debut in Dabangg, in September, 2010.
Akshay, who is all geared up for the movie, recently tweeted: "The countdown has begun... Ticket ki khidki par Rowdy bol, baaki kaam mujh par chhod!"

Directed by former choreographer Prabhu Deva, Rowdy Rathore is the Hindi remake of Telugu film Vikramarkudu. Made at a budget of approximately Rs 40 crore, the film is co-produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Ronnie Screwvala.
Already, the film has made headlines because of a song that goesChammak Challo Chail Chabeeli and features Sonakshi shaking her booty in a skimpy red sari. Inevitably, comparisons with Kareena Kapoor's Chammak Challo from Ra.One have follwed.
Kareena herself makes a special appearance in another song, Chinta Ta Chita, with South actor Vijay and Prabhu Deva.
