Mumbai: Director Tinu Suresh Desai said that the makers will not push the release date of Akshay Kumar's Rustom, which is all set to clash at the box office clash with Ashutosh Gowariker's Mohenjo Daro.

It was reported that the makers of Rustom might shift the film, scheduled to release on August 12 as Hrithik Roshan's Mohenjo Daro is releasing on the same date.

"No. Nothing like that. Our film is also releasing on August 12 as scheduled," Tinu told PTI.

On Tuesday, a statement on behalf of director Ashutosh Gowariker read that Hrithik 's Mohenjo Daro will keep its date with the box office on August 12 as scheduled.
