Pakistani singer-turned actor AliZafar, who garnered great applause for his comic act in TereBin Laden, is all set to feature in the film's sequel butonly in a cameo role.
The 31-year-old had a full-fledged role in the prequel.
The 2010 laugh riot, directed by Abhishek Sharma was asurprise hit with Zafar and Pradhuman Singh in the lead roles.
And now Sharma is coming up with the sequel which isinterestingly titled as Tere Bin Laden 3.
"Tere Bin Laden Part 3 is coming. Abhishek has narratedme the story...there was one character that I really liked alot. It is a cameo but it is interesting. I only told him ifhe could allow him to do that role. He also got excited withthis idea. So we are working on this," Zafar said.
The first part was a humourous take on Osama Bin Laden andthe upcoming film is set post Osama's death. Thepre-production of the film started from May 2, which is alsothe death anniversary of Osama.
Meanwhile, the Pakistani actor is quite excited about theremake of 1981 romantic-comedy Chashme Buddoor. The remakeversion stars Zafar, Siddharth, Divyendu Sharma, Taapsee Pannuand Rishi Kapoor. It is being directed by David Dhawan.
"I am playing young college student in the film (ChashmeBuddoor). I thought I should lose some weight as collegestudents are slim and fit, minus muscles. I have lost lot ofweight for this film. And now again, gaining weight for nextfilm," Zafar said.
The 31-year-old, who was honoured with the DadasahebPhalke award for best new talent here, said, "I think it is abig honour and I feel I am very small. I am thankful toeveryone. It is a prestigious award... what big recognitionthan this who planted this industry. I am falling short ofwords."
