New Delhi: Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh were the showstoppers for ace fashion designer Manish Malhotra at the grand finale of FDCI India Couture Week 2017 that was held in Delhi on Sunday. The duo closed the week long show in style. Alia Bhatt looked gorgeous in an embellished blouse paired with a floral skirt while Ranveer Singh charmed everyone in an embroidered sherwani with patterned pants. Ahead of the show, the duo were seen having a great time together. They kept their fans and followers updated by uploading several pictures on Instagram. One hilarious picture posted by Alia Bhatt shows Ranveer Singh sitting on the sofa and the 24-year-old actress is seated below him looking a little annoyed. Speaking to news agency IANS, Alia Bhatt said that it 'fantastic' to walk for Manish Malhotra.

"It does feel fantastic to every time walk for Manish. He is like a family. He is so amazing and inspiring," IANS quoted the Dear Zindagi actress as saying.

Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh will be coming together for the first time in Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy. They have previously worked together in the advertisement for a travel portal.

"I'm walking with Ranveer for the first time. Whenever I'm with Ranveer, there's a different level of energy and enthusiasm because he just has that inside him. He's very special," Alia told IANS.

Alia Bhatt last featured in Badrinath Ki Dulhania opposite Varun Dhawan. She is currently busy shooting for Meghna Gulzar's Raazi.

Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh is busy filming Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmavati, co-starring Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor.
