Actress Alia Bhatt checked in on Instagram on Monday, days after she contracted COVID-19. Alia Bhatt, who was busy filming her upcoming projects before she tested positive, is currently quarantined at home. On Monday, while chilling on her bed, Alia felt like sharing an update for her Instafam and clicked a cute selfie for Instagram. Looks like Alia is spending her quarantine days with her favourite soft toy. "One day at a time," Alia captioned her photo and garnered a whole lot of comments from her loved ones. Ranbir Kapoor's mom Neetu Kapoor was one of the first ones to drop the red heart followed by Ranbir's sister Riddhima, who wrote: "Cuteness." For the uninitiated, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are dating. Ranbir had tested positive for COVID-19 last month and has recovered since then.

Last week, Alia Bhatt revealed her COVID-19 diagnosis in an Instagram story, writing: "Hello all, I have tested positive for COVID-19. I have immediately isolated myself and will be under home quarantine. I am following all safety protocols under the advice of my doctors." Alia also thanked concerned fans in her post, adding: "Grateful for all your love and support. Please stay safe and take care."

In terms of work, Alia Bhatt co-stars with Ranbir Kapoor in Ayan Mukerji's upcoming movie Brahmastra. Her line-up of films also includes SS Rajamouli's much talked about RRR, in which she works with Ram Charan, Jr NTR and Ajay Devgn. RRR marks Alia Bhatt's south cinema debut. Meanwhile, Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Gangubai Kathiawadi casts Alia Bhatt as a mafia queen. The film is expected to open in cinemas on July 30 this year.
