Chennai: Cinematographer-turned-director KV Anand has refuted rumours that he has casted Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt in his yet-to-be-titled Tamil film featuring Dhanush.
Following a Facebook update from a fake profile under the name of KV Anand, it was reported in some sections of the media that Alia had been finalised for the project.
Clarifying the news on his Twitter page, Anand wrote: "It is not my official (Facebook) page. Fake. I never typed so many words. We are still searching. I will share the news once I confirm someone."
Known for helming Tamil films such as Ayan, Ko and Mattrraan, Anand recently announced his new project with Dhanush. He will start shooting as soon Dhanush is done filming upcoming Tamil comedy Naiyaandi.
