Alia Bhatt Returns From Filming Udta Punjab, Apologises For 'Going MIA'

Actress Alia Bhatt has filmed her part in the first shoot schedule of Udta Punjab, which co-stars Kareena Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor and Punjabi singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh.

On Twitter, Alia announced her return from the sets of the film:

Meanwhile, lead heroine Kareena Kapoor was performing at the Femina Miss India pageant two days ago. Pictures of her rehearsing:

Udta Punjab actor Shahid Kapoor - who is also Alia's co-star in Shaandaar - was also performing at the pageant.

Udta Punjab, directed by Abhishek Chaubey and produced by Phantom Films, deals with Punjab's drug problem.
