New Delhi: Alia Bhatt's had a super duper busy 2016 with three film releases, and all critically acclaimed and box office hits. Alia, 23, featured in three very different roles this year with Kapoor And Sons, Udta Punjab and latest Dear Zindagi. And after the hard-work, the actress is on a well-deserved family vacation in Male, Maldives. Alia along with her parents, filmmaker couple Mahesh Bhatt and Soni Razdan and sister Shaheen took off to Maldives on December 11 and reached their destination the same day. Mahesh Bhatt became the official 'papa'razzo for the family holiday and posted pictures from the airport, in flight and later.

Alia Bhatt completed the filming of her next film Badrinath Ki Dulhania before she hopped on the plane. The film is second in the Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania series and also stars Varun Dhawan and produced by Karan Johar, like its predecessor. Before leaving Alia tweeted:
2016 has been a phenomenal year for Alia Bhatt, who starred in three hit films. In Kapoor And Sons she co-starred with Rishi Kapoor, Sidharth Malhotra and Pakistani actor Fawad Khan. In Udta Punjab Alia plays the role of a Bihari migrant who gets trapped in the world of drugs and later escapes. She featured alongside Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Diljit Dosanjh.
In her latest film, Alia plays a young cinematographed battling her emotions and inner conflicts arising from complex relationships. She finds solace after she consults a therapist, played by Jehangir Khan.
Her upcoming projects are Badrinath Ki Dulhania, Ayan Mukherji's sci-fi film Dragon with Ranbir Kapoor. Both films are produced by Karan's Dharma Productions.
