The quirky trailer of Shaandaar, which stars Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles, has bagged over two million views in just two days of its release.
The three-minute-12-second long trailer, which was released on August 11 and currently boasts more than two million views so far, hints at a fresh take on modern day romance. (Also Read: The First Trailer of Shahid, Alia's Shaandaar Love Story is Out)
Alia, 22, took to Twitter to share her excitement on the film's new achievement.
In the film, Shahid is playing a wedding planner, Jaginder Joginder, who is in charge of the marriage of Alia's sister.
Shahid's real life father Pankaj Kapur plays Alia's dad in the film. While his half-sister Sanah Kapoor makes her Bollywood debut with the film, playing the bride in the destination wedding drama.
The 34-year-old newly married actor also shared the post shared by Alia on August 11, on reaching the milestone.
Directed by Vikas Bahl and co-produced by Phantom Films, Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and Fox, Shaandaar will hit theatres on October 22.
