R&B star Alicia Keys and her husband Swizz Beatz have become the proud parents of a baby boy.
The couple have named their son, born on October 14, Egypt Dean. It is the first child for the 29-year-old Keys, though Egypt is welcomed by Beatz's three other children, reported People
magazine.
"Whatever we're blessed with, that baby is being born to blessed parents. Alicia is definitely one of those great parents-to-be. She's super ready. Super glowing. Super happy," said Beatz.
The couple who have become parents are also newlyweds. The singer and the rapper-producer, were married in a private ceremony in July.
At the time, the two were unaware of the gender of their child, but Swizz Beatz, whose real name is Kaseem Dean said they were excited to start a family together.
