Mumbai:
Director Pradeep Sarkar being the mentor of actress Vidya Balan didn't take it too lightly when she turned him down for the role Rani Mukherjee played in Laaga Chunari Mein Daag - Journey of a Woman.
But after a gap of five years, both have bridged the gap between them by working together in an advertisement.
The two visibly put their differences aside by hugging each other during an ad film shoot for a popular hair brand that Vidya endorses, says a source.
"Pradeep was the director of the ad film and Vidya was initially nervous about working with him again since he was upset with her. However when the two met on the set, they hugged each other and put all animosity aside. They bonded just like they used to and it's safe to say - all is well between them," a source, present on the set, said.
Director Pradeep Sarkar and powerhouse performer Vidya Balan share a deep-rooted bond that developed while working on the director's debut project Parineeta - a film that won Sarkar a National award.
