Chennai:
Actor Allu Sirish is thrilled about his Malayalam debut 1971: Beyond Borders, in which he features with superstar Mohanlal. He says his father and brother - producer Allu Aravind and actor Allu Arjun - are excited about his entry into Malayalam films.
"My father and brother are very excited for me. They see it as a great learning experience for me as the acting style in Malayalam industry is very different vis-a-vis others. They also consider this a huge break for me," Sirish told IANS.
Arjun particularly is very excited for Sirish.
"Arjun's films so far have only been dubbed into Malayalam and released. Instead of dubbing and releasing my films in Malayalam too, he feels I'm lucky to be working in a straight film. And working alongside Mohanlal sir makes it even more special," he said.
Sirish has commenced shooting for the film, which is being directed by Major Ravi.
In the film, he plays a tank commander and the story focus on the tank battle between India and Pakistan.
