Chris Brown says he needs some time for himself
Los Angeles:
Rapper Chris Brown says he is not dating singer Rihanna or model Karrueche Tran and has decided to stay single.
Brown insists he just needs some time for himself and so has chosen not to date anyone right now.
"Fans have seen me on and off again with different girls, you know who they are, but right now, as a 24-year-old man, I just choose to be single,"hollywoodlife.com quoted him as saying.
"I'm still good friends with them. Now it's just me being focused with my music and doing this stuff. Right now, I'm in my prime," he added.
Brown is also putting a duet with on-and-off girlfriend Rihanna on his upcoming album. He made the announcement about his ex-girlfriend making an appearance on the track via the microblogging website Twitter.
He tweeted: "New album features @NICKIMINAJ, Kendrick, @rihanna, @KELLYROWLAND, @wizkhalifa, @bobatl and more surprises to come. 'X' (sic)".
But, Rihanna didn't seem to be impressed by his decision to release their track, which was recorded when they were still together. Shortly after Brown's announcement, Rihanna tweeted: "Phuck O.utta H.ere (sic)."
She also posted a photo on Instagram featuring the words: "you will die, be born again, die and be born again before I ever do a song with you."
