Mumbai: Ameesha Patel, who was returning from UK with her business partner Kuunal Goomer, was stopped by Customs officials at the Mumbai airport recently.
A source said, "The two of them were in UK, searching for locations for their debut production venture. The Customs officials asked them to step aside and then they were taken aside for checking. Every piece of their luggage was opened and checked."
Ameesha Patel was still at the airport when she said, "We have been here forever. A female inspector checked my luggage or else it would have been very embarrassing."
Ameesha Patel said, " When my bags were checked, they didn't find anything."
