Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan has become the first Bollywood celebrity to have 15 million followers on popular micro-blogging site Twitter.
The 72-year-old megastar beat his contemporaries Shah Rukh Khan (13.3 million), Salman Khan (12.2 million), Aamir Khan (12.9 million) and Priyanka Chopra (9.81 million) with his new milestone.
Mr Bachchan joined Twitter in May, 2010 and has ever since used the social networking platform as a one-stop destination for his fans to connect, interact and engage with the actor.
Big B, who is followed by stars such as Sridevi, Dilip Kumar and Madhuri Dixit, is extremely active on Twitter and has tweeted 41600 times so far.
