Filmmaker Shoojit Sircar's next movie Piku, starring Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Irrfan Khan, will hit the screens on April 30, 2015.
The first schedule of the film - made by MSM Motion Pictures, Saraswati Entertainment Creations Limited (SECL), Shoojit Sircar and Ronnie Lahiri's Rising Sun Films - will go on the floors in August 2014. (Also read: Deepika Padukone's Piku Hero is Bengali Star Jisshu Sengupta)
Mr Sircar, who has worked with Big B in the yet-to-release Shoebite and forthcoming fiction TV show Yudh, is also looking forward to teaming up with the actors.
"The charisma of Mr Bachchan, seamless acting of Deepika with the versatile flair of Irrfan Khan and the evergreen Moushami Chaterjee will make Piku an experience for me. I am looking forward to this fantastic opportunity of working together with such gifted talent from the industry," the Madras Café director said in a statement.
