Megastar Amitabh Bachchan says he has always admired his Shamitabh co-star Dhanush as an actor.
"I have always admired him as an actor. I have seen his south films. I have seen Raanjhanaa also. He is a very accomplished actor and he is a huge star," Mr Bachchan told reporters here.
The 72-year-old also believes that Dhanush is a "wonderful choice" for the role in Shamitabh, which was reportedly first offered to Shah Rukh Khan.
"Now that I have almost seen the product of our film, I do feel that he is a wonderful choice," said Big B.
Directed by R Balakrishnan aka Balki, Shamitabh also features Akshara Haasan.
