Megastar Amitabh Bachchan says the Chandra Barot-directed 1978 action film Don was a 'masterpiece'.
Big B, 73, played the titular character of the mostwanted criminal in the movie, which also starred Zeenat Aman and Pran in pivotal roles.
Big B wrote on Twitter:
Don was the third-highest grossing Bollywood movie of 1978. Actor Shah Rukh Khan starred in the remake and sequels to the film in 2006 and 2011.
The Piku star is currently in the capital to shootfilmmaker Shoojit Sircar's next production,tentatively titled Eve.
The actor revealed he had 'jitters' on his first day at work. He said, "First day works, first day anxiety, first day fathoming,first day uncertainties, first day several tries forperfection, first day in a million suggestions and first daycomplete."
