Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has won the best television host award for the popular game show Kaun Banega Crorepati.
"How did it happen? It's the People's Choice Award by Colors channel for the best television host for KBC. Thank you all, who voted for me," tweeted Amitabh.
First aired in 2000, KBC hosted by Amitabh marked his maiden appearance on Indian television. The sixth season is currently on air on Sony. Big B has hosted five seasons, except for the third one, which saw actor Shah Rukh Khan playing host.
