Amitabh Bachchan has signed director Shoojit Sircar's next film. Shoojit and Mr Bachchan recently worked together in Piku, which was a huge hit. Now, the two will collaborate on a project that would be produced by Shoojit.
"We have signed Amitabh Bachchan for a film that I would be producing. We share a great relationship and it's always an honour to work with him. It is going to be a Delhi based film," Shoojit told PTI, without divulging much details about the project. (Also Read: I Copy Satyajit Ray, Says Piku Director Shoojit Sircar)
The film will be produced by Shoojit's Rising Sun Films.
"We have locked a script and it will be directed by a new director Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury," the Vicky Donor director said.
The film will go on floors in February 2016.
