Megastar Amitabh Bachchan S launched popular TV reality game show Kaun Banega Crorepati 8 (KBC 8) here on August 2 and local girl Deepa Jagtiani, who got to play KBC Live, won Rs 640000.
Deepa, who helps her brother in his business, used three lifelines - 'audience poll' and 'phone a friend' and 'triguni' while playing the game, which is the Indian adaptation of international format Who Wants To Be A Millionaire.

The prize money is Rs 7 crore this year and Big B has tagged it Kaun Banega Mahacrorepati.
After winning the 'Fastest Finger First' round, an overwhelmed Deepa had told Big B, "Unbelievable that I am standing with you."
The launch episode of the knowledge-based show has been uniquely shot live amidst Surat residents and will be telecast on Sony Entertainment Television on August 17.
