New Delhi:
Superstar Amitabh Bachchan has officially declared his support for activist Anna Hazare, who is grabbing headlines the world over for his protest against corruption.
The Big B told NDTV: "In a democracy, everyone has the right to express their opinions. No one wants corruption in the country. If somebody advocates that there should be no corruption, he has every right to do so. Everyone knows the law of the land, and if they abide by it, there is no problem."
Anna Hazare was released from New Delhi's Tihar Jail today, after spending three nights in the jail premises. The 74-year-old social activist was detained and later arrested on Tuesday morning, minutes before he was to set out for his fast against corruption.
