Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who has been roped in for a campaign against the infectious disease caused by Hepatitis B virus (HBV), will meet authorities to plan the way ahead for spreading awareness about the health issue.

Big B had previously tweeted about Hepatitis B virus (HBV).
The Don star has been associated with UNICEF as a Global Ambassador for polio eradication since 2005. His active campaigning for the cause, coupled with other factors, led to India's polio-free status.
Now he is putting his weight behind the Hepatitis B campaign.
"Wish to start a campaign on awareness of Hepatitis B. Met some committed doctors and shall strategise. Detect and cured asap!," Big B had tweeted in December 2014.
