Megastar Amitabh Bachchan says headmires actress Preity Zinta for the drive and guts with whichshe has managed her career all alone.
The 69-year-old actor recently attended a party thrown bythe French embassy in honour of Isabelle Adjani, who isplaying a prominent role with Preity in her debut productionventure Ishkq In Paris.

"Preity Zinta produces and acts in a film which also hasin its cast the beautiful Isabelle Adjani from France.Isabelle is in town for its shoot and Preity invites us for aparty at the Sofitel Hotel, hosted by the French Ambassador,to meet the lovely lady.
"It's a quiet dignified evening, and because I am fond ofPreity, I go along for precisely 10 minutes, to wish her andher guest," he posted on his blog.
Bachchan, who has shared screen space with Preity infilms like Veer-Zara and Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna, said he isbowled over by her guts, the way she has managed her career sofar without any help and survived in the showbiz business.
"I have always admired Preity for her drive and guts in aworld that can be most cruel to a single girl. But just lookat the way she has managed her career, all alone, without anytraditional assistance from the Industry.
"She is frank and painfully honest and outspoken to the'o', and that is an admirable quality, for a girl that had toface some rather tragic and unfortunate events very early inher life," he added.
The 37-year-old actress is the founder of the productioncompany PZNZ Media and the co-owner of IPL team Kings XIPunjab. Bachchan praised her for playing the role of abusinesswoman perfectly.
"She put her hand into business, knew nothing about it,but was determined to educate herself. So she went across toUSA for a short course in business management at a prestigiouscollege and came back wiser, educated and a lot more confidentand not for a moment keeping too far away from her professionof choice films."
