Rajkot: Megastar Amitabh Bachchan today visited Mahatma Gandhi's birthplace 'Kirti Mandir' in Porbandar district and offered flowers.
The 67-year-old actor who arrived here last night, visited the 'Kirti Mandir' this morning where he shot for the ad film 'Khushbu Gujarat Ki', for promotion of Gujarat tourism.
The veteran star also visited 'Ashmavati Ghat' and 'Chopati' as a part of his advertisement shooting, Porbandar district authority said.
Later in the evening would leave for another pilgrimage, the coastal town of Dwarka.
The actor has been in Gujarat for last three days and has visited historic places like Sabarmati Ashram.
He termed the opportunity to shoot at various historic places as incredible blessing.
He said visiting various places of historical, cultural and political relevance gave him a chance to connect with the lives of some of the greatest minds.
