Mumbai: Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has finished shooting for upcoming political drama Satyagraha in which he plays an activist.
"It's a wrap on the film Satyagraha today (Wednesday). Film shooting over, releasing August 23," Big B posted on Twitter.
Amitabh's character is said to be based on activist Anna Hazare.
Directed by Prakash Jha, Satyagraha also features Arjun Rampal, Kareena Kapoor, Manoj Bajpayee and Amrita Rao. The film has been primarily shot in Bhopal.
