Mumbai:
Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's debut film Aks, a 2001 thriller, completed its 14 years and its lead star Amitabh Bachchan recalled how he started sporting his French beard permanently after doing this film.
Mr Bachchan, 72, who played the role of a cop in the film, said that after the film, he decided to keep the beard:
Aks revolved around two characters - Manu Verma (Mr Bachchan) and Raghavan, a shadowy killer, played by Manoj Bajpayee.
Though the film did not do well at the box-office, it was well received by critics.
