Amitabh Bachchan plays Yudhisthir Skarwar, a highly competitive businessman on the show

Yudh, which is the first fictional TV show to feature Amitabh Bachchan, will hit the small screen on July 14.
The finite series will be aired Monday to Thursday at 10.30 PM on Sony Entertainment Television.
After years of planning and a year of production, Yudh, which stars the Big B as Yudhisthir Sikarwar, promises to take viewers for a "cinematic experience" through their television screens. (Also Read: Yudh cast skips make-up)
Yudh is co-produced by Mr Bachchan's production company Saraswati Creations in collaboration with Endemol India. Acclaimed filmmaker Anurag Kashyap is the show's creative director, along with Shoojit Sircar who has been roped in as a creative consultant. The series is directed by Ribhu Dasgupta.
The show follows the life of Yudhishthir Sikarwar, a real estate baron, who is diagnosed with a degenerative neurological disorder. It traces his journey, his struggle with his collapsing health, his battle with business rivals and his complicated family equations.
The show also features veteran actress Sarika along with names like Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Tigmanshu Dhulia and Kay Kay Menon.
