Tragic singer Amy Winehouse's doctorhas claimed she refused to undergo therapy to overcome heralcoholism issues.
The British soul star, who passed away in July, wasreviewed by a psychologist and a psychiatrist last year, buther physician, Christina Romete, has revealed the star wasdetermined to get better without the help of a therapist,reported Contactmusic.
Romete told an inquest in London on Wednesday,"(Winehouse was) opposed to any sort of psychologicaltherapy... She was one of the most intelligent young womenI've ever met. She was very determined to do everything herway, including her therapy. She had very strict views onthat."
Romete also insisted she wasn't worried about Winehousetaking her own life as the star had been making future plansthe night before her death.
"I was not concerned that she was suicidal. She waslooking forward to the future and we were discussing plans forher upcoming birthday party. She had previously said she didnot want to die and said that night, 'I have not achievedthings I wanted to do'," she added.
A coroner ruled the Back to Black hitmaker died as an"unintended consequence" of drinking too much alcohol.
