Amy Winehouse's home will be centre of rehab charity

London: Amy Winehouse's home is set tobecome the headquarter of a proposed rehab center.

The tragic singer's loved ones believe it "makes sense"for the 2.5 million pound property in Camden, North London, tobe the focal point of the new Amy Winehouse Foundation,reported Sun online.

It will be boosted by profits from a new single whichAmy, 27, made with music legend Tony Bennett.

Amy's father, Mitch, who is making efforts to build thecenter to help youngsters after he lost his daughter toprobable substance abuse, said the foundation will boost awide range of "causes close to her heart".

"It could include help for children in trouble, kidssuffering health problems, children's hospices and more. Wewant to make a positive difference," said Mitch.

Earlier the Winehouse family discussed selling theten-room, three-storey property.

"They think it's too precious to give up, hence the newHQ idea. They don't want to rent it out and if they sold itthey think it could attract the wrong kind of buyer as it waswhere Amy passed away. They may sell one day but that would besome way off," said a source.

The mission statement of the Amy Winehouse Foundation isdue to be formally announced on September 14, which would havebeen the Back To Black singer's 28th birthday.
