Janhvi Kapoor's debut film Dhadak is doing phenomenal business at the box office and the actress is also being applauded for her performance in the film. Overwhelmed by the response, Janhvi dedicated a heartfelt post to all those who were associated with Dhadak. "Thankful, grateful, and blessed for all of you, and because of all of you," read Janhvi Kapoor's Instagram post. She also shared a number of BTS photos from the sets of Dhadak, which featured her co-star Ishaan Katter, director Shashank Khaitan and the crew of the film. On the post, Janhvi's brother-in-law Anand Ahuja showered his blessings on the actress and wrote: "Blessings on blessings on blessings! What a star! Excited to see how you continue to capture all of us throughout your career. Many congratulations and lots of wishes Janhvi Kapoor."
Janhvi's star cousin Sonam Kapoor married Anand Ahuja in a big fat Punjabi wedding in May. Anand and Janhvi follow each other closely on Instagram and often exchange comments on each other's posts. After Anand Ahuja's wedding with Sonam, he shared a photo (featuring Sonam and himself) on Instagram and captioned: "It's wonderful to be loved. In an interview to IANS, when the 21-year-old actress was asked about the best compliment she had received for Dhadak, this is what she said: "I got the best compliment from my director Shashank Khaitan when he told me that he is proud of me. But more than that, I feel the kind of overwhelming response that we are getting here is the biggest compliment for all of us."
Meanwhile, Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter's Dhadak is going strong at the box office and has collected over Rs 39.19 crore. Produced by Karan Johar, Dhadak hit the screens last Friday. The Shashank Khaitan-directed film is the Hindi remake of Marathi blockbuster Sairat, which released in 2016. The Marathi film featured Rinku Rajguru and Akash Thosar.
