Actor Chunky Panday, who lost his mother Snehlata Panday recently, paid his last respects at her prayer meet in Mumbai on Tuesday. At the prayer meet of Snehlata Panday, Chunky Panday was accompanied by his wife Bhavana and daughter, actress Ananya Panday. On Tuesday evening, Chunky was spotted escorting Bhavana Panday outside Snehlata Panday's residence. After the prayer meet, Ananya Panday, wearing white, was pictured waiting for her car to arrive for pick up. Chunky Panday's mother Snehlata Panday died in Mumbai on Saturday at the age of 85.

Meanwhile, Ananya Panday's cousin Alanna, who lives in Los Angeles, mourned her grandmother in these glimpses.

Ananya Panday, in her send-off note to grandmother Snehlata, poured her heart out in an emotional post: "She worked every day up until the age of 85, going to work at 7 am in her block heels and red streaked hair. She inspired me every single day to do what I love and I'm so grateful to have grown up basking in her energy and light."
Alanna Panday also remembered her grandmother in these heart-wrenching words: "I wish you could read this right now so I could tell you how much I love you- it breaks my heart that I wasn't there to say our last goodbyes or hold your hand when it happened."
Snehlata Panday, who used to live separately in Bandra, died at her residence on Saturday. Bhavana and Chunky Panday were visited by their close friend, actress Neelam Kothari Soni, who came along with her husband, actor Samir Soni. Deanne Panday - wife of Chunky's brother Chikki Panday - also arrived to pay her last respects.
