Finally, after a long wait, the makers unveiled the trailer of Ayushmann Khurrana's upcoming film Anek. Helmed by Anubhav Sinha, the action-thriller stars Ayushmann as an agent named Joshua. The film marks the second collaboration of Anubhav and Ayushmann after their hit movie Article 15. The film is scheduled to release on May 27, 2022. Sharing the official trailer on the YouTube channel, T-Series wrote, "An untold story of an undercover cop set against the geopolitical backdrop of North East India. An action-thriller about a rebellion, an uprising. An Indian, who wants nothing more than peace for the nation. Presenting the much-awaited trailer of #Anek."

The trailer showcases, Ayushamann Khurrana on a mission to neutralise the situation in North East of the country. A group led by a leader named Johnson is attracting special attention in the trailer. The trailer also has a side story about how an aspiring Northeastern boxer wants to play for India. 

After seeing the trailer, we can say that it will keep the audience on the edges.

Earlier, Ayushmann Khurrana, in a statement said, "Anek, is a project that's extremely close to my heart and it's a powerful film because it should invoke a sense of patriotism amongst audiences." He added that the film will also ask the question, "What does it mean to be Indian?"

The action-thriller drama, Anek is helmed by Anubhav Sinha, who is also co-producing the film with T-Series. The film is slated to hit the theatres on May 27, 2022.
