Hollywood star Angelina Jolie, whoworks as a special envoy for the United Nations, has teamed upwith Britain's Foreign Secretary William Hague to launch aninitiative to combat sexual attacks in conflict areas.
Hague announced plans to set up dedicated teams toinvestigate rape in troubled countries as part of a newgovernment scheme and he was joined by Jolie, 36.
Jolie's Bosnian war movie In The Land Of Blood AndHoney, which features a harrowing rape scene, was shown toMembers of Parliament in a bid to highlight the problems inwar zones on May 29.

Ms Jolie, we are very grateful to youfor coming and for graciously allowing us to screen your filmIn the Land of Blood and Honey. For more than 10 years you have worked to highlight theplight of refugees worldwide in Haiti, Somalia, Sudan,Afghanistan, Syria, Libya and many other countries; to supportnumerous charitable causes, and to promote education, justiceand the rights of women worldwide," Hague said.
