London:
Angelina Jolie plans to master her French in 2011 because she is keen to direct a French movie.
The Oscar-winning actress has already started work on her directorial debut, a love story set during the Bosnianwar.
But Jolie reportedly wants to direct an arthouse French film because her mother Marcheline Bertrand hailed from the country, Contactmusic reported.
"I'm going to practice (French) and try to become fluent in the next few years," she adds.
The 35-year-old star also owns a house in the South of France with partner Brad Pitt and their six children.
