The actor also shared a collage of four photos, one of which shows his filmmaker daughter Rhea in conversation with a woman on some set.
The details on this development are scarce, leaving fans wondering how much the show will be 'Indianised'.
Modern Family, a mockumentary that premiered on ABC on September 23, 2009, follows the lives of Jay Pritchett and his family, all of whom live in suburban Los Angeles.
The fictional characters on the show frequently talk directly into the camera. The series was renewed for its seventh season on May 7, 2015.
