Mumbai:
Veteran actor Nana Patekar, who has been paired again with the 24 star Anil Kapoor for Welcome Back, said that his co-star is an 'unhappy actor'.
"Anil Kapoor is an unhappy actor. He is never satisfied with his take while he is shooting for a film. Even after the director says 'OK' to a take Anil wants to keep doing the shot until he feels that he has done justice to the scene," he said.
The two are playing Majnu and Uday Bhai respectively in the sequel to the 2007 superhit film. But eight years on, the two actors have lost none of their camaraderie.
"When we were doing Parinda, Nana was supposed to play my brother's role. I, however, felt that he would be more suitable for Anna's role and look what happened to that one," said Mr Kapoor.
"But when Vidhu Vinod Chopra made Broken Horses he didn't call me," quipped Nana Patekar.
Welcome Back releases on September 4 and also stars John Abraham, Shruti Haasan, Paresh Rawal and Naseeruddin Shah.
