On Sunday, Anil Kapoor shared a vintage throwback picture featuring Krishna Raj Kapoor, wife of veteran director-actor Raj Kapoor along with her daughter-in-law, actress Neetu Kapoor. Neetu Kapoor was married to Raj Kapoor's son Rishi Kapoor. Also seen in the image is Anil Kapoor's wife, jewellery designer Sunita Kapoor. In the candid image, the three women are seen helping themselves to food at a buffet. Sharing the post, Anil Kapoor said, “Mrs Krishna Raj Kapoor, Mrs Neetu Rishi Kapoor and my wife Sunita #throwbackmemories.”
Kareena Kapoor Khan, who is Krishna Raj Kapoor's granddaughter wrote, “Why are the Kapoors always near the food …then and now. Best.” To this, Anil Kapoor said, “We Kapoors love our food.”
Neetu Kapoor too couldn't stop herself from dropping a comment under the pic. She said, “This is so nostalgic.” And, Anil Kapoor replied by saying, “Iconic capture.”
Rhea Kapoor too responded to the image and said, “Mom's [Sunita Kapoor] face is just (fire emoji).” Like a true doting husband, Anil Kapoor said, “Always is,” with heart-eye emoji.
A few weeks ago, on the occasion of his wife Sunita Kapoor's birthday, Anil Kapoor shared a throwback picture and wrote, “ Happy Birthday, Sunita Kapoor. The love of my life, my only constant and the beautiful mother of my incredible children…I am so lucky I get to spend every day with you and love you a little more with each passing day…This year, as we step into new roles as grandparents, I can't wait to start this new chapter of our love story with you! Replying to the post, Sunita Kapoor said, “Love you to eternity,” with heart emojis.
Recently, on the occasion of Farah Khan's birthday, Anil Kapoor shared a throwback picture with the director-choreographer. “Happy Birthday, Farah, Some things never change and our friendship is definitely one of them. So glad to have you in my life. Here's to always killing it on and off the screen. Love you, Papaji.”
On the work front, Anil Kapoor will be seen next in the Netflix original Thar with his son Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor.
