New Delhi:
The Ganesh Chaturthi festivities mean that Maximum City is also experiencing maximum traffic.
On Tuesday, actor Anil Kapoor smartly took the local home instead of braving the crowded roads and it paid him rich dividends - he made it home in time for Visarjan, spent 20 minutes commuting instead of two hours, and relived some childhood memories.
Mr Kapoor, 59, tweeted pictures of his journey through the Mumbai Central and Dadar stations, ending at Vile Parle.
The train ride made the 24 actor nostalgic.
Mr Kapoor was happy to take selfie with men in uniform.
He did have to navigate the city's streets when it came to Visarjan time and was photographed carrying the Ganpati idol with his wife Sunita and son Harshvardhan.
Anil Kapoor, who is currently seen in the second season of his TV show 24, will soon work with nephew Arjun Kapoor in Anees Bazmee's Mubarakan.
