New Delhi:
Wait, have Sushant Singh Rajput and Ankita Lokhande not broken up after all? In the wake of headlines announcing the end of their six-year relationship, 31-year-old Ankita has told Times of India that they are still together.
In the interview, Ankita said that she loves Sushant, 30, unconditionally and explained why she didn't visit him on set.
What Ankita told Times of India:
1. "I don't know why everyone's speculating that our six-year relationship has ended and that we are no longer together. It's unnecessary and uncalled for. I am there with him as always, I love Sushant Singh Rajput unconditionally. These rumours are completely baseless and in bad taste."
2. :I have never visited him on his sets; I only went with him to Cape Town because I hadn't been to South Africa before. But this time I will be really busy over the next couple of months with my own professional projects to drop in on him."
3. "I have always admired and respected Sushant for his loyalty and commitment. He has never played games with me. He has always been a one-woman man and I love my man."
4. "You'll definitely get invited to my wedding."
5. "As of now, all I can say is that anything that happens between us is our business alone. I can only assert that I love Sushant unconditionally and he, more than anyone else, knows it."
Last week, a report in Hindustan Times said that Sushant told them in a text message: "I can't talk about it right now. It is not a good feeling. Please, understand." (Also Read: Sushant Singh Rajput on Break-up With Ankita: "Not a Good Feeling")
On Twitter, the actor posted a cryptic message:
On Holi, Sushant had tweeted a picture of himself surrounded by fans at a celebration in Mumbai and captioned it: "Alone in the crowd!! Where are you?" However, the actor has now deleted the tweet.
In response, Ankita tweeted (and still hasn't deleted):
Sushant and Ankita met on the sets of television show Pavitra Rishta.
Meanwhile, Sushant will next be seen in Neeraj Pandey's M S Dhoni: The Untold Story followed by Raabta, co-starring Kriti Sanon.
