Actress Anne Hathaway is set toreunite with The Dark Knight Rises director ChristopherNolan on his new blockbuster Interstellar.
The 30-year-old Oscar-winning will star alongside MatthewMcConaughey in the film, reported Deadline.
The film's plot is being shrouded in secrecy but theadventurous movie has been in development since 2006 whenSteven Spielberg devised the project along with Christopher'sbrother, Jonah Nolan.
The esteemed Lincoln director reportedly hired Nolan towrite a script for a film based on physicist Kip S Thorne'stheory that wormholes exist and can be used for space travel.
However, Spielberg left the project, allowing the Nolanbrothers, who have collaborated on numerous films, includingthe Dark Knight trilogy, The Prestige and Memento, tocome together once again.
The new script is thought to be a combination ofSpielberg's movie and an original idea from Christopher.
The sci-fi film, which is a joint production betweenParamount and Warner Bros, is being produced by Nolan, EmmaThomas and Lynda Obst.
