Vicky Kaushal has shared an update from the sets of his upcoming film Sam Bahadur. The film is directed by Meghna Gulzar. Vicky will play the titular role in the film, which is a biopic based on the life and times of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw. Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh are also part of the film.  Sanya to portray Silloo Manekshaw, Field Marshal Sam Bahadur's wife. Fatima Sana Shaikh will be seen as former India Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Vicky has shared a picture with team Sam Bahadur and wrote, “ Shooting on #ArmyDay with the Army. Warmest wishes on the 75th Army Day to All Ranks from Team Sam Bahadur.”

Before this, Vicky Kaushal updated us about the shoot location. The film, which went on floors in August last year, has been shot in nine cities and how the crew has reached “city number 10”. Along with a selfie clicked inside an aircraft, the actor wrote, “Touchdown city no.10… Time to meet Sam again.”

Sam Bahadur will hit the theatres on December 1. The announcement was made by Vicky Kaushal himself. 

At the time of announcing a schedule wrap, Vicky Kaushal picked pictures from the wrap-up party and wrote, “After more than two months of relentless work across five cities…It's a schedule wrap for the bahadurs. Few more cities and a few more months to go. See you soon Team, to continue our journey of making Sam Bahadur.”

Vicky Kaushal was last seen in Govinda Naam Mera alongside Kiara Advani and Bhumi Pednekar. The film also featured Renuka Shahane in a pivotal role. The film, backed by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, was released on Disney Plus Hotstar.
