Anoushka Shankar says all her father's albums were incredibly beautiful.

Anoushka Shankar, daughter oflegendary sitarist Pandit Ravi Shankar, says she is not at allsurprised that her father's album The Living Room SessionsPart 2 has received a posthumous nomination at 56th GrammyAwards.
The 32-year-old sitarist, who was very closed to herfather, said that all his albums were incrediblybeautiful.
"It's amazing and at the same time not surprising at all.It's overwhelmingly incredible as it is his first album sincehis death and it got the Grammy nod. All his albums wereincredibly beautiful," Anoushka told PTI.
The sitar maestro, who died last December at the age of92, won the World Music album award last year for the firstpart of the album The Living Room Sessions Part 1.
The Grammy also honoured him with a posthumous lifetimeachievement award, which was received on his behalf bydaughters Anoushka and Norah Jones.
Anoushka, 32, feels the kind of albums his father made inhis last days are made by only few people in the world as theyare with no editing and layering.
"My dad hadn't recorded many albums recently. The lastalbum was 14 years ago. Finally, he called Tanmoy Bose (tablaplayer) at our home in San Diego and in our living room heplayed with him over a couple of days. One of my dad's studentdid the recording. Those seven ragas that my dad played weresplit into two albums," she added.
The musician, who collaborated with her father many times,is sad that she was not involved in any of his last works.
"I wish I would have been because all these were solelymusic. I am hopeful that it wins a Grammy this year too," shesaid.
The 56th Annual Grammy Awards will be held on January 26,2014, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
