Veteran actor Anupam Kher will play the role of Mahendra Singh Dhoni's father in the upcoming biopic on the cricketer.
M S Dhoni: The Untold Story will be directed by Neeraj Pandey who made A Wednesday in 2008.
Sushant Singh Rajput will play the role of Dhoni in the biopic. (Also Read: John Abraham: Am Sure Sushant Will be Fantastic as Dhoni)
Mr Kher answered the question on Twitter when a fan asked him about his role in the biopic:
Yesterday, Mr Kher also tweeted that he was on his way to Kharaghpur to shoot for the film:
Neeraj has directed Mr Kher in Special 26 and Baby apart from A Wednesday.
The film also features Fugly actress Kiara Advani who reportedly plays the role of the cricketer's wife Sakshi Singh Dhoni.
