Anupam Kher, who is to receive the Padma Bhushan this year, has given Mahesh Bhatt, director of his debut film Saraansh, a Rs 1,000 note and thanked him for giving him a 'career'.
In an image shared by Anupam Kher on Instagram, Mr Bhatt is seen planting a kiss on Mr Kher's forehead as he bows down before his 'guru'.
Mahesh Bhatt had earlier congratulated the 60-year-old actor for being named for the Padma Bhushan, the country's third highest civilian honour.
