There was a entire line-up of 'bigshots' at the launch of the second trailer of new film Bombay Velvet in Mumbai on Monday. Lead actors Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma, playing boxer Johnny 'Bigshot' Balraj and jazz singer Rosie Noronha, were joined by director Anurag Kashyap and co-stars Karan Johar, who plays the sinister Kaizad Khambatta, and Kay Kay Menon.
Anushka, who is currently juggling publicity duty for both Bombay Velvet and Dil Dhadakne Do, looked pretty as a picture in printed Zara separates.
A third song from the film titled Naak Pe Gussa has also been released, close on the heels of the trailer.
Based on historian Gyan Prakash's book Mumbai Fables, Bombay Velvet will hit theatres on May 15.
Ranbir and Anushka mustered their showbiz wits to create a photo-op for the assembled press, with Ranbir sweeping his heroine off her feet and into his arms.
