New Delhi:
Actress Anushka Sharma may just be regretting her decision to replace the male lead in her first film as producer, NH10. (Also read: Anushka's debut as a producer)
NH10, a story of a road trip gone wrong, originally starred Anushka and Queen actor Rajkummar Rao. When Anushka came on board as producer, however, she dropped Rajkummar in favour of Shaitan's Neil Bhoopalam.
This u-turn might just prove a pothole on NH10 as Rajkummar Rao's stock is north-bound after he won the National Award for Best Actor for his performance as real life murdered lawyer-activist Shahid Azmi in last year's critical hit Shahid.
NH10 is directed by Navdeep Singh who previously made Manorama Six Feet Under. The film is jointly produced by Anushka's Clean Slate Films and Phantom Films, co-owned by Anushka's Bombay Velvet director Anurag Kashyap.
